So my aunt who lives in Hawaii is coming to town tomorrow. That means that the entire day is dedicated to fixing up the house! This always happens. We wait until something important comes along and then it’s a mad-dash the day before to straighten things up.

However, I won’t discredit my mother and younger brother. They do a lot of work around the house to keep things in order throughout the week. It’s just that I can’t help laughing to myself when I get woken up by my grumpy father to start doing hours of chores, when we could’ve started doing them days before to relieve some of the overwhelming stress.
