I went running after I got home from work today. I live in a very secluded, yet nice neighborhood. What I didn’t realize until today was that we have a lot of dog owners in my neighborhood. I ran passed four houses that had dogs that ran out onto the streets towards me. I’m not talking the cute “hello strange person, let me sniff you for a bit”. I’m talking about loud intimidating barking as if they’re protecting something. Actually, the other week my mother went running throughout our neighborhood and was aggressively chased by a dog. Now she carries pepper spray with her, just in case it happens again…

Moral of the story: tie up your dogs people.
