Somehow the Thanksgiving vacation is already over and here I am, at 2:45AM, writing when I should be sleeping…
It’s good to be back in Boston though. Being at home stressing me out. Whether it’s my older brother annoying my parents or the fact that my grandfather went into surgery the day before Thanksgiving, it all stresses me out. On the bright side though, it was good to see my younger brother and, of course, my cat Ace!
Oh well. I’ll leave you with an original composition that I uploaded to my YouTube account shortly before I left for the break. Enjoy!
I’m looking forward to going home for the Thanksgiving break. I was home recently for a concert, but only for one night. Not to mention, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I always get so excited to eat on Thanksgiving since all the food is so amazingly delicious. The cranberry sauce, the mashed potatoes (especially the mashed potatoes), the stuffing, and of course the turkey are some of my favorite things to eat.
We’re hosting the dinner at our house this year, so that should be fun… (I guess) It will be good to see my relatives though; I don’t get to see them much, now that I live in Boston.
Surprisingly, I think I’m most excited to see my cats. Is that bad?
So I recently found a new way to record the audio on my keyboard and import it onto my computer. The quality is much better than before, which makes me a very happy camper.
Thus, I’m starting yet another side project – creating an album of some of my original compositions. I know I have some originals on my YouTube account already, and you’ll probably see a couple of those pop up in the album (re-recorded of course), along with a handful of new content. I don’t really have any specific timeline for the album as of yet, and I really don’t know what to call it. Any help?
Is so ridiculously awesome. Think about it for a moment- how it was made, what it can do, all the people who were involved in the creative/development process.
Just realizing that they mapped out our entire world and put it in the palms of our hands is crazy.
This is my fourth or fifth Big D and the Kids Table show, and they never disappoint.
Things I liked about the show:
- It was on Halloween.
- Being on Halloween the band came out in full jumpsuits and masks.
- My friend caught one of the jumpsuits that was thrown into the crowd.
- They played almost everything I wanted them to play.
- One of their female back-up singers is pretty damn hot.
- Watching the stage management team struggle to keep kids off the stage.
- My friend being introduced to the cute camera man she was eyeing.
Things I did not like about the show:
- Getting upper-cutted by someone’s shoulder.
- My $90 Addias shoes are ungodly dirty now.
- Fighting to breath in the mosh pits during the popular songs.
- Having one of my friends lose her shoes, resulting in her walk home practically barefoot.
- Having crowd surfers land on you.
- Sweat.
